To quote from your editorial, “ the United States and its allies have contributed in every possible way to the increase of military tension in Ukraine, fomenting the conflict in Donbas and dragging Russia into it.” I don't understand this logic; it sounds very much like more Soviet propaganda.
The US didn't invade Ukraine; Russia did in an unprovoked manner and has continued to wreak misery on a peaceful people in a senseless act of “(SMO) Special Military Operation,” that's a good one.
The only thing special about it is that the aftereffects of the SMO are already pollution and chemicals seeping into the soil. Has and oil aside, the disruption of grain shipments is being felt worldwide.
With only 6% of the European land mass yet has over 30% of Europe's biodiversity.
Russia can point fingers back at the US as much as Putin wants, yet the world is anti-Russian because the world sees the truth, something the Russian citizens didn't hear, just more propaganda, and the world has seen the pictures.
They have destroyed everything in Donbas and Eastern Ukraine, and what for, so they can claim it as theirs?
.
It's a wasteland, and nobody is more deserving than Putin. Once the truth gets to its citizens, they will rebel, there will be unrest in Russia, and who wants to live in a nuclear wasteland. Why? Because the Russian ground troops at Chornobyl have removed, stolen, or destroyed; Six hundred ninety-eight computers. 344 vehicles. 1,500 radiation dosimeters, so there is no telling what the soil is like, and I’m sure it will be unable to grow crops as it has.
I’m not sure if you misunderstood, but those were the words of Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, not the author of the article (Sergey). In any case, I agree with your very well-written comment. I’m also glad that Sergey is able to share this information from within Russia, while walking a very fine line with current media restrictions that could put him in danger if he says the wrong thing. He’s a very brave man (assuming he’s still in Russia).
Thanks for the compliment, and you're right. I reacted to the comment immediately because I had read what I wrote only days before, so it was fresh in my mind.
My opinion stands regardless of who said it (but thanks for calling me out) it's the actions that are lasting and immediately obvious especially after hearing from local residents that had to watch their loved ones die.
My wife has a cousin in Krakow Poland and inside of the first two weeks had taken in a young couple with a child, the wife's sister and it's Krakow, they're small apartments.
We’re sending them money monthly until they get on their feet and I feel very good about that.
The fact that Putin is sending Ukrainian citizens into Russia into camps and prisons; WTF, is this guy
That’s wonderful that you and your family are helping refugees directly.
It is so upsetting what is happening and that we are watching WW2 all over again. I’m just grateful that my late mother-in-law was one of the lucky few who got to migrate to Canada after being in a displaced persons camp in Ukraine after the war. It’s good that she did not have to see this new tragedy unfold. So much evil and so difficult to stop it.

Where do you live now? I’m outside of Dallas Texas.
